I know it might be incredibly unpopular for me to say this but..
I seriously think that Margie Engle got cheated out of an Olympic team spot. I’m sorry, and I’m sure I’ll get loads of hate mail for this, but I really don’t care for Reed Kessler and I don’t think that she should be on the Olympic team this year. Yes she has performed well this year, but I think if America truly wanted to be competitive they would have taken Margie. She’s a seasoned grande prix rider with a team gold and individual bronze from the 2000 Olympics. I think Reed is a decent rider, but is fortunate to have excellent horses.
